Blue Monday - Rewritten

Blue Monday - Rewritten (2005)

Awesome straight edge band from Vancouver. They sound kind of similar to other west coast bands of that time. Think Betrayed, Champion, or Set It Straight and you get the idea. This album is pretty cool. Enjoy.

Against The Wall - Identify Me

Against The Wall-Identify Me (1989)

Yo! This records from Against the Wall from California. The music on the record is hard, I get kind of a Judge feel from them. I've also heard them compared to Turning Point, I wouldn't say so personally but I can kinda see where thats coming from since they have some more melodic riffs mixed in. Definitely check this out, you won't be let down! Enjoy.

Up To Us - Demo

Up To Us - Demo (2009)

Newer Cleveland hardcore band. Youth crew style with a female vocalist. I've never quite heard a female vocalist who wasn't very angry sounding so this took me a bit by surprise, but overall it's pretty cool. It's fun. Kind of reminds me of 7 Seconds at time. I'm interested to see what this band does next. Definitely check out this demo! Enjoy.

Committed - Demo

Committed - Demo (1998)

Demo of an awesome Cleveland band called Committed. Hopefully you've already downloaded the 7" I posted way back when. This demo is great, this band is great, and Clevo Stomp is an awesome song (among others). Download this demo because Committed rules and is underrated and the singer sounds really similar to Ray Cappo. Enjoy.

(also big thanks to Frank for providing the demo cover!)

Sorry Excuse - Demo

Sorry Excuse - Demo (2008)

This is an awesome straight edge hardcore band from Kansas City, Missouri. I remember checked them out when the demo first came out, but it hadn't really clicked hard until I recently saw this band at Force Fed's last show earlier this summer. It's fast and pissed and has a shit ton of influence. Everything from early Madball to Youth Of Today to Poison Idea. Definitely one of my favorite current bands going. Check out the demo. Enjoy.

Confront - Payday

Confront - Payday (1991)

Late 80's Cleveland hardcore. If you're a fan of Youth Of Today, Judge, Brotherhood, and SSD then this is the record for you. Harder sounding pissed off youth crew style. It's a great fucking record. Also, if you didn't know this band is pre-One Life Crew. That may or may not effect your drive to get this album if you don't have it. If you're a fan of any of the bands I compared Confront to, you'll love this record. Enjoy.

Brink - The Demo Strikes Back

Brink - The Demo Strikes Back (2010)

This Michigan comes back with a revised version of the demo with much better quality. It's tighter and even has a couple new songs added it. This has a strong Lockin Out feel in the vain of bands like Mental, Stop & Think, and Jaguarz. If you have the old demo, definitely get this one! If you don't have the old demo, well, get this one anyway! Enjoy.

Billingsgate - Reach Out

Billingsgate - Reach Out (1990)

Chicago area hardcore band whose guitar player, Erik Funk, went on later be in the band Dillinger Four. This record is pretty cool. I'd say it has a harder youth crew/nyhc feel compared to the LP they released a year later. I prefer this because its more raw in my opinion. If you're into bands like Confront, Youth Of Today or most of the stuff I post in this blog, you'll be into this band/record. Enjoy.

Billingsgate - No Apologies

Billingsgate - No Apologies (1991)

I believe this band was from Chicago. This is their LP released on Nemesis records. Think Outspoken and Verbal Assault with a bit of NYHC influence I'd say. This record is pretty good so if you're into the above mentioned bands, check it out! Enjoy.

Injustice System - Spoken Word

Injustice System - Spoken Word (2010)

Injustice System or Inj/Sys for short are a hardcore band from Tampa, FL. I assume their name comes from the Sick Of It All song. I hear a bit of SOIA influence mixed with earlier NYHC and Boston hardcore. Basically it sounds like it came out in 1982. I'm into it so check it out! Enjoy.

Seeker - Demo

Seeker - Demo (2008)

This is easily one of my favorite current bands, even considering I have not yet seen them. They are from Texas and bring an awesome mix of influence. 3 that come to mind to me almost instantly are Bad Brains, Inside Out (Rev), Burn, and Beyond. The guitar work is very good and the music as a whole gives me somewhat of a spiritual feel, which I can always get down with. Seriously don't sleep on this demo if you've never heard this band, especially because they have an EP in the works. Enjoy.

Thick Skin - Bottom Feeder Demo

Thick Skin - Bottom Feeder Demo (2010)

This band hails from Australia. They are fast, pissed, straight edge, and draw influence from a lot of good bands. It reminds me of older Boston bands mixed with more recent bands like Step Forward, Stop & Think, or Righteous Jams. It's a pretty awesome sound and this demo is a great first impression on this band. Get this right now! Enjoy.

Accident Prone - Demo 2009

Accident Prone - Demo (2009)

A newer Philly band with all sorts of influences. A l t of times it reminds me of fast early 2000s hardcore but there's all sorts of things thrown in there. They also have members of Drug Test and One Up. Just check it out for yourself. Enjoy.

Beastie Boys - Aglio E Olio

Beastie Boys - Aglio E Olio (1995?)

I don't know exactly when this came out though I saw 1995 from some websites. I find that kind of weird since by this time Beastie Boys were a hip hop group and not a hardcore band, so who knows. If you have any information on when this came out, feel free to let me know! It's pretty good stuff. Enjoy.

Lion Of Judah - Soul Power

Lion Of Judah - Soul Power (2005)

Awesome band from DC that's still around and kicking. This EP was released on Lockin Out and I feel Lion Of Judah is definitely very unique in their sound. Often times it may remind you of Bad Brains and sometimes Dag Nasty. But the riffs are insane, funky, and awesome. Definitely get this EP right now. Enjoy.

Count Me Out - 110

Count Me Out - 110 (2000)

2nd album of the Richmond youth crew-esque hardcore band, Count Me Out. This album rules! Enjoy.

7 Seconds - Skins, Brains and Guts

7 Seconds - Skins, Brains & Guts EP (1982)

I believe this was 7 Seconds' first EP. It's oldschool as fuck. Fast, raw, and not quite as melodic as their later stuff, but fucking awesome nonetheless. RACISM SUCKS RACISM SUCKS RACISM FUCKING SUCKS! Enjoy.

7 Seconds - Committed For Life

7 Seconds - Committed For Life (1983)

OG hardcore punk band 7 Seconds has a lot of material, but this one is definitely a gem. So this upload goes out to the positive youth! Awesome EP. Enjoy.

Lockin' Out presents Sweet Vision Comp

Lockin' Out presents Sweet Vision Comp (2004)

I'm just assuming this was put out in 2003, so correct me if I'm wrong. This nice little compilation from Lockin' Out records has some sweet tracks from bands like Righteous Jams, SOS, The Wrong Side, Get Real, Say No More, Jaguarz, and Mental. The songs are awesome so check it out! Enjoy.

Rampage - Heads In A Vice!

Rampage - Heads In A Vice! (2006)

Seeing this band for the first time this Saturday inspired me to come out of my blog hiatus and provide this upload. This Lockin Out band is pretty damn good. Fast like older NYHC bands with catchy, riffs that are fun and awesome. Excited to see this band. Enjoy.

Keep It Clear - S/T

Keep It Clear - S/T (2009)

Self-titled EP of Vancouver straight edge band, Keep It Clear. I believe they have members of Go It Alone and Blue Monday, but I could be wrong. Either way this record is great and they kind of remind me of Floorpunch at times. Perhaps that's where they got their name? In any case, get this EP right now. Enjoy.

Keep It Clear - Demo

Keep It Clear - Demo (2007)

Great straight edge band from Vancouver. The northwest is really coming through right now with a handful of amazing bands, and this one is one of my favorites for sure. Check it out. Enjoy.

Stop And Think - Both Demos

Stop And Think - Both Demos (2003)

Easily one of the best straight edge bands of the early 2000s and they were from Boston. Lockin Out is the illest and this release proves that once again. This one's for Michael! Enjoy.

Invasion - Demo

Invasion - Demo (2001)

Big props to my boy Jimmie for getting me both the SOS and Invasion demo pictures. Invasion used to be this band, but now we're playing righteous jams! This demo is pretty sweet. Only thing is when you get this and import them to itunes or whatever, the tracks aren't labelled and I should have done it but I didn't. The are in the actual folder though, so just take 5 minutes and name the songs. BUST IT! Enjoy.

SOS - Demo

SOS - Demo (2004)

It took a while to track someone down to take a picture of this demo, but here we have it! Lockin Out's 8th release! This band formed from some ex members of Crunch Time. Really hard to find this demo, so get it now... Enjoy.

Chokehold - Prison Of Hope

Chokehold - Prison Of Hope (1993)
Canadian vegan straight edge that came out around the time Earth Crisis did. Great fucking band and hard as nails and arguably better than Earth Crisis. Definitely one of the heaviest hardcore bands of their time. This is a great album so check it out! Enjoy.

Get Real - Shore Style

Get Real - Shore Style (2004)

Not sure how I slept on this fucking band, but they are awesome as hell. Definitely for fans of Lockin Out and more specifically bands like Mental, Crunch Time and Stop & Think. This band is seriously so fucking good. Get this album RIGHT NOW. That means you, Ryan. Enjoy.

Blank Stare - Suicide

Blank Stare - Suicide EP (2006)

3 songs from Boston's own Blank Stare. One of the best straight edge bands of this decade easily. Fast and pissed check it out! Enjoy.

http://www.mediafire.com/?mwyjyiy0yn0

Urban Waste - S/T (Mob Style)

Urban Waste - S/T (Mob Style) (1982)

Classic record right here. NYHC, raw recordings, fast, pissed, awesome. Easily one of the best NYHC bands of all time and any fan of early 80's hardcore will agree and appreciate this album. Police Brutality! Enjoy.

http://www.mediafire.com/?gjnztmni0jj

Cause For Alarm - S/T

Cause For Alarm - S/T (1983)

Classic NYHC. Very awesome and underrated band. Check out this EP if you're into early NYHC like Agnostic Front, Urban Waste, Antidote, Abused, etc. This band also did a split with Warzone in which they sounded just like Warzone. Either way get this record right now! Enjoy.

http://www.mediafire.com/?nujkmnjxze3

Integrity - Off The Bat

Integrity - Off The Bat Demo (1987)

This is before Integrity became the Holy Terror metal charged hardcore band they are today. X'd up gardener gloves, baseball bats, militant edge. Think Confront and Judge and you got one hell of a demo. Enjoy.

http://www.mediafire.com/?dbnwwqhrnbz

At All Costs - Direction

At All Costs - Direction (2006)

Awesome CT hardcore band. They broke up and members went on to form Hostage Calm. At All Costs was melodic, youth crew influenced and had a fucking trumpet player. That alone makes this band pretty damn awesome. If you like bands like Champion or With Honor you'll be into this. Enjoy.

http://www.mediafire.com/?iuoonnjy2yd

Count Me Out - Few And Far Between

Count Me Out - Few And Far Between (1999)

Vexed - Demo

Vexed - Demo (2009)

This is a great straight edge band from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. They are influenced by bands like Integrity, Ringworm, and Cursed. Fast, heavy, and in your face. Check out this 5-song demo because this band is really going to be going places. CAPE COD STRAIGHT EDGE TAKING OVER 2010. Enjoy.

Committed - The Pride We Share

Committed - The Pride We Share (1998)

I seriously wish more people talked about Committed because this band was fucking awesome. I love 97 youth crew revival bands. There are few I REALLY like including Ten Yard Fight (who got me into this style to begin with), Floorpunch, and COMMITTED. Seriously, youth crew bands draw influence from Youth Of Today we all know, but this band does it so damn well. The vocalist even sounds very much like Ray Cappo. Clevo straight edge in your face. Get this EP or never return to my blog again. Period. Enjoy.

Four Walls Falling - Live at the King's Head Inn

Four Walls Falling - Live at the King's Head Inn

First of all this picture isn't from that show. Also, I'm not sure when this show was exactly. I received an email with pretty much Four Walls Falling's entire discography which made me a very happy man. I love this band too much and it was cool all the stuff I've never heard before. As you can see, this is from a live set and it's most all their later stuff (post-Culture Shock) which is fine by me because everything they put out I enjoy. Enjoy.

Bulldoze - The Final Beatdown

Bulldoze - The Final Beatdown (2001)

Not even sure if this is when this record was released (I thought it was 1994 at first), but I guess this is their discography. Bulldoze is pretty much the only "beatdown" band I can really tolerate. All the carbon-copy bands that supposedly use this name for their sound aren't really carbon copies at all. It's far worse in my opinion, but to each their own as they say. With that said, Bulldoze was pretty damn hard. I wasn't around then, but I'm pretty sure they lived up to their sound as well. BEATDOWN. Enjoy.

Breakdown - The '87 Demo

Breakdown - The '87 Demo (1987)

My friends are always telling me that this is their favorite release of Breakdown and they have good reason to feel that way. This demo fucking rips. It's NYHC of course and it's around the time were the tougher sounds emerged. This is essential for NY during the time so get it now. Enjoy.

http://www.mediafire.com/?jzbo23ynnfg

The Abused - Loud And Clear

The Abused - Loud And Clear (1983)

Easily one of the best NYHC bands of all time. They were earlier so it's before NY got that tougher metal influenced sound. I love both sounds, but The Abused were just too fucking good. Any fan of hardcore should get this if they don't, because it's essential. DRUG FREE... DRUG FREE YOUTH! Enjoy.

Betrayed - Substance

Betrayed - Substance (2006)

Fronted by the founder of React! Records, this band is too fucking good. Full of awesome lyrics, pounding energy and a great sound behind it. Not sure if this band is considered broken up or active right now though. Either way, get this now. Enjoy.

http://www.mediafire.com/?jonfizzddjz

Coke Bust - Demo

Coke Bust - Demo (2007)

Angry, fast, awesome, in your face, COKE BUST! This is the demo of the DC straight edge band that are supposedly the king of basement shows. I haven't seen them in a basement yet, but I know I definitely wouldn't be let down. Get this demo because it's fucking amazing. Enjoy.

http://www.mediafire.com/?qmtnnxuyt5y
