Half The Battle - What We Have

Half The Battle - What We Have (2009)

This is a pretty awesome hardcore band from the Phillipines. I get vibes of Battery, Hands Tied and Rancor. Their singer is a pretty awesome dude as well. It was originally a CD pressed on Take Four Collective/Major Malfunction records in 2009 then was pressed as a 12" record in 2010 on Jut Another Day records. Get into this record especially if you're into any of the bands I named above, or else angry X'd up Phillipino dudes will rip you apart like that poor robot. Enjoy.

Black SS - Bullshit Rites Of Passage

Black SS - Bullshit Rites Of Passage (2004)

Awesome fucking straight edge band from Syracuse. This was one of their demos I believe and it fucking rips. I wish this band would play more because they are definitely one of my favorite current bands, but I guess they all have families and other grown up things so they cannot play that often. Singer sounds real similar to John Brannon of Negative Approach and the music sounds influenced by NA as well, among others. All around this band is fucking great. They are big into pro wrestling which is a plus. Get this shit right now. Enjoy.

Better Times - Demo ft. William Franger

Better Times - Demo ft. William Franger (2011)

One of the many awesome newer bands out there. This band is from Buffalo and this demo is pretty damn awesome. If you couldn't tell from the awesome artwork of the Jay Jacoby, this band is all about the youth crew. Awesome riffs, energetic, fast and fun, and I can't wait to see what comes out next. So if you're into the youth crew style, especially the 97 revival-esque bands, you will without a doubt love this demo. And don't you forget.. William Franger (guitar player/charming edgeman) is the man. Enjoy.

Crumbsuckers - Life Of Dreams

Crumbsuckers - Life Of Dreams (1986)

Okay firstly, I know it's been a million years since the last update, but I'm back in the groove so expect more uploads from now on. Alright, now on to this record. I absolutely fucking love it. I think it's a perfect record. This NYHC band mixed elements of hardcore and metal (well a lot of NYHC bands did) but I really like how this band did it. Think sort of along the lines of Agnostic Front - Cause For Alarm. I think the two records are similar but it's kind of hard to figure out which one I like more. Anyway, check out this banger of a record. Enjoy.
